The Gruber Treasure Trove

The folks at Western Journalism has put together a clever montage of Jonathan (Mac) Gruber, the Massachusetts "economist" that made $400,000 as one of the main architects of Obamacare and countless other millions setting up state exchanges to comply with the monstrosity.  The clips have been widely seen by high information voters, and might actually be reaching the rarified air of the Big 3 Low Information networks, so shocking is it to have anyone involved with supporting this law actually tell the truth about it after 6 years of stead deception.  In hindsight from 2014, Gruber in these clips from the past 3 years comes across like some comic book villain monologuing about how great his master plan is going to work now that the hero can do nothing to stop it.  It's really quite amazing to watch.

For me, the most notable in the mountain of Gruber gems that came out is a simple fact I have been telling people for years now - the Massachusetts healthcare system - a major marketing tool for Obamacare - never actually worked after Romney left office.

"The dirty secret in Massachusetts is the feds paid for our bill, OK? In Massachusetts, we had a very powerful Senator you may know. His name is Ted Kennedy. Ted Kennedy had basically figured out — Ted Kennedy and smart people in Massachusetts — had figured out a way to rip off the Feds for $400 million a year."
-Jonathan Gruber

It took a steady diet of federal wealth distribution, unpaid bills to area hospitals, and hiding deficits like the $350 million one Team Patrick was just forced to disclose to the incoming Baker administration to make it LOOK like "free healthcare" as envisioned by Democrats was viable. It was not. It is not. It will never be.

Repeal, Replace, Impeach, Rinse, Spin, Repeat.
